Slovakia

The Slovak Republic (the capital - Bratislava) has become independent relatively recently, in 1993. The country is located in Central Europe, about 5.4 million people live on the territory of about 49 000 km2.

Slovakia is a parliamentary republic headed by the President. The Prime Minister, as the head of government, has a large part of the executive power, as a rule, it is a leader of a coalition or a party. The government is the main executive body, the National Council (unicameral, 150 members) is the supreme legislative body. The official language for official office work is Slovak, the official monetary unit is the euro.

There is no access to the sea from Slovakia, but this does not prevent the continental state from demonstrating a good pace of economic development. Especially rapid growth in production is observed in the capital area. The export of goods to various EU countries and the production of medicines also bring profit. The tourism industry is promising, in particular, owing to the ski resorts. The Republic has low inflation and poverty level.

Advantages

The opening of the company in a European country with a full-fledged market economy is accompanied by a number of benefits, including a loyal taxation system, especially taking into account the successful location of Slovakia, excellent transport links, EU membership and participation in the Schengen area. There are no strict requirements for doing business here, labor force is about 30% cheaper than in neighboring countries.

This is one of the few EU countries where the registration of the company provides good chances to obtain a residence permit, since Slovakia is not full of foreign citizens yet. In order to extend residence permit, it is enough to cross the border of the country every 6 months, you can legally claim the citizenship in 5 years. The residence permit in Slovakia allows free movement within the Schengen states.

The number of shareholders for the opening of the SRO can not be more than 50 people, these are natural/legal persons without citizenship requirements. They are assigned a limited liability (depending on the share of each in the authorized capital). The owner of the company conducting the management may be one person, there may be as many directors as possible.

If the director of SRO does not have the citizenship of Slovakia, the EU or the OECD, a residence permit is a prerequisite. Information on directors and shareholders is considered public. Nominal service is not used for the shareholders, it is possible for directors in some cases.

At least 2 shareholders will be required for the registration of AS, if they are natural persons (citizenship does not matter), or only one is enough if it is a legal entity. The maximum number of shareholders is not established. All of them have limited responsibility. The Board of Directors (6 people) and the Supervisory Board (6 people) are responsible for managing the company. The company can issue shares in any form, they will be freely quoted at the stock exchange. AS is fully liable within the property for its obligations and debts.
